EQC are Award-Winning - Sustained use of the Business Excellence Model

EQC were the proud recipient of an award at this year’s Wales Quality Awards Champion of champion event held on 23^rd January 2019 at Hensol Castle South Wales. This was a very special occasion, marking the 30^th anniversary of the Wales Quality Centre, founded by Vincent Kane in 1989, and drew together many of the successful companies who had entered the awards programme over previous years.

Entrants are assessed and benchmarked against the European Foundation of the Quality Management Excellence Model, and having won a series of awards on 5 separate occasions, including Environmental Systems, Customer Service, Manufacturing Excellence, and Partnerships and Resources, this year’s award was given for “Sustained use of the Business Excellence Model”

The award gives credibility to the culture of quality, effectiveness of supply, and extended service levels for which EQC have become renowned.
