Euro Quality Coatings Limited (EQC) recognise that environmental concerns are an integral part of its business
Euro Quality Coatings Limited (EQC) has been in existence as a metal finishing business since September 1994 and provides a powder coating service to a wide variety of industries. At year end 2014 EQC employed 63 people.
Our main raw materials are powder coatings and chemicals. Our environmental impacts relate to the disposal of general and hazardous waste, energy usage, water usage and emissions from the process and transport.
It is the companies aim to achieve environmental excellence through Green Dragon certified environmental management system and to this end will endeavour to achieve a balance between it’s business aims and environmental issues with regard to the requirements of the Green Dragon Level 5 Environmental standard.
The Environmental Policy covers all of our activities, both Direct and Indirect which have significant environmental effects on air, water, land, employees and neighbours.
To accommodate the policy the company will engage in the activities listed below;
EQC will fully comply with the legislation related to its processes and operations.
EQC will be committed to a programme of continual improvement through a series of set objectives and targets.
The prevention of pollution, reduction in resource consumption and generated waste will form an integral aspect of the business.
EQC will encourage and actively seek to recycle all waste where it is technically and economically viable to do so.
Through training and development EQC will ensure all staff are aware of the policy and ensure that commitment to the policy can be fulfilled.
Management commitment will ensure that adequate resource and information is available to maintain the objectives of the policy and that, through annual review and updating, the policy remain effective.
This policy will be displayed in all site units for information purposes to employees and visitors and may be distributed to clients or suppliers on request.
